Are Home Raffles Legal In The State Of Florida?
Yes! Every state has the authority to regulate legal raffles and other games of chance. A Home Raffle in accord with the laws and statutes of the State of Florida require that the sponsor of a Home Raffle must be a qualified non profit organization, such as ours the "CHURCH OF PEOPLE FOR SOUND WORLD JURISPRUDENCE". Our organization is a religious non profit organization established for the pursuit of "JUSTICE" and Equity for all human beings throughout the World.
How Many Tickets Will Be Sold?
Ticket sales will not exceed 5,000.
What Happens If All 5,000 Tickets Are Not Sold By The Stated Raffle Date?
In accord with Florida State law, if all 5,000 tickets are not sold by the stated, dated, deadline then the raffle is converted into a 50/50 drawing which will be held in accord with the identical rules that would have governed the home raffle. The winning ticket holder will receive 50% of all monies collected on the sales of raffle tickets and be responsible to pay appropriate state, local or federal taxes, therefore should consult with their tax advisor. The raffle will be held within 10 days of the final ticket being sold and the new date of the raffle will be published on this website.
How Is The Raffle Money Being Secured?
The "Church Of People For Sound World Jurisprudence", has retained the services of a 3rd party un -associated credit card vendor, which also accepts checks and money orders for ticket sales. The name of the 3rd party vendor is Show Clix, Inc., which corporation will be responsible to collect all monies from sales of tickets for the raffle and release the money no later than one business week following the raffle or 50/50 drawing to the "Church Of People For Sound World Jurisprudence". Additionally the 3rd party vendor Show Clix, Inc. will be responsible to provide all ticket raffle buyers with their validated proof of purchase and a unique ticket number(s).

How Will The Winning Ticket Be Drawn?
Copies of all 5,000 tickets sold for raffle or all tickets sold for 50/50, depending on which one is appropriate, will be placed into a professional raffle drum which will be tumbled by one or several of the persons present at the raffle or 50/50 drawing and the final winning ticket will be drawn by an independent, un -associated Certified Public Accountant Firm. The appointed Certified Public Accountant Firm will be mandated to issue a written certification of the name of their firm; person who picked the winning ticket and the winning ticket number. The written certification signed by a member of the firm will be published on this website and available by written request to the "Church Of People For Sound World Jurisprudence" PO Box 31643 / Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33420.
Who Pays For All Closing Cost Fees For The Winning Home Raffle?
The "Church Of People For Sound World Jurisprudence" pays all closing costs including title transfer fees for the new owner holding the winning ticket once the winning ticket is validated. The only cost to the winner of either the home raffle or 50/50, is the tax burden associated with the winning and must be observed by the raffle or 50/50 winner.
What If The Winner Cannot Afford To Pay The Tax Cost On The Winning Amount Of The Home Raffle?
In the rare event, where a winner of the Home Raffle only , has a Hardship which is proven to the satisfaction of the "Church of People For Sound World Jurisprudence", the Church may elect to make a loan available to the winner at an interest rate of 5% per annum , with the loan value used to pay the related taxes directly.
How Much Are The Taxes on The Home?
The current mortgage value of the home to be paid off is $312,500.00, which may vary slightly according to current mortgage payments. Please consult your tax advisor for further information.
What Are The Odds Of Winning This Drawing?
The odds of winning the Home Raffle is 1 in 5,000 assuming you only purchase 1 ticket. The odds on the 50/50 are less than 1 in 5,000 depending on the total number of Home raffle tickets sold by the end of business on May 30th, 2010 (11:59 p.m. EST.).
How Can I Enter The Home Raffle?

Do I Have To Be Present To Win?
No! You can elect to be present at the time, date and location of the raffle which will be published on this website, or if not present we will attempt to notify the winner of the raffle according to our records by telephone and or email if provided to us within 24 hours and or by FedEx to the address provided by the buyer of the raffle ticket to us.
